About the Role

Overview

Performs ultrasonography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.  Uses independent judgment ingenuity and initiative to perform state-of-the art diagnostic ultrasound procedures.  

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate accredited ultrasound program preferred.

License, certification and/or registration: Require ARDMS registered within 1 year of hire or 2 years from graduation date, whichever is later. BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Experience: Six months to one year clinical experience preferred.

Additional Skills/Abilities: Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing task frequently and quickly.  Must be willing to learn vascular ultrasound.
