Brut India is looking for a Producer to join our team, someone who understands Tamil culture, digital storytelling, and can turn ideas into sharp, engaging, and relevant short-form content.

What You’ll Do

Produce short-form videos for Brut India’s upcoming Tamil-language digital initiative across social platforms.

• Identify and pitch story ideas relevant to Tamil audiences -- from news and culture to lifestyle, internet trends, and people-led stories.

• Write sharp, engaging scripts in Tamil and adapt relevant Brut India stories for Tamil audiences while retaining cultural context.

• Research, fact-check, and ensure accuracy and credibility in every story.

• Follow Tamil digital culture, creators, cinema, music, fashion, and conversations shaping the internet.

• Work closely with the wider editorial and production teams to take stories from idea to final video.

• Use AI and other digital tools to make content production faster and more efficient.

• Stay tuned into digital trends and understand what makes content relevant, engaging, and shareable for Tamil audiences.

Requirement:

• Fluent in Tamil and English; Hindi would be a plus.

• Strong writing and storytelling skills.

• Good understanding of social media and short-form video content.

• Experience of 1 to 5 years with a Degree in journalism/ communication will be an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Should be a strong Team player and someone who thrives on internet culture

• Self-starter who requires minimal supervision and has passion for visual storytelling in new format.
