About the Role

Company Description

Our client is a leading global technology services and consulting organization that partners with some of the world’s largest enterprises to drive business transformation, innovation and sustainable growth.

With a presence across more than 40 countries and a global workforce of over 80,000 professionals, the organization combines deep industry expertise with capabilities in digital engineering, cloud, data and analytics, enterprise platforms, AI and technology-led transformation.

Its Healthcare and Life Sciences business is entering an important new phase of growth, supported by established capabilities across Life Sciences, Healthcare and Medical Devices, a strong global delivery platform and relationships with major enterprises in highly regulated industries.

As part of this strategic expansion, the organization is seeking a senior commercial executive to help accelerate growth, strengthen market presence and create significant new revenue opportunities across these sectors, with Life Sciences serving as the primary growth engine.

Job Description

The Vice President, Growth and Sales – Life Sciences, Healthcare & Medical Devices will lead the next stage of commercial growth across three established and complementary businesses, with Life Sciences serving as the primary growth engine.

This is a senior growth and sales leadership role focused predominantly on new logo acquisition, major new revenue creation and the development of large, strategic opportunities. It is not a traditional account management or farming position.

The executive will define and execute an integrated growth strategy across Life Sciences, Healthcare and Medical Devices, aligning market priorities, target accounts, executive relationships and major pursuits across the portfolio.

A critical part of the mandate will be personally creating executive-level access, originating new opportunities and leading complex pursuits through closing, while building a disciplined and repeatable new-logo engine.

The successful executive will work closely with established sector leaders as well as consulting, delivery, engineering, alliances and solution teams to translate industry challenges into differentiated, outcome-based propositions and large-scale transformation programs.

The role requires the ability to engage credibly with C-suite and senior industry executives across pharmaceutical, biotech, MedTech and Healthcare organizations, connecting deep industry knowledge with technology-led transformation across areas such as AI, data and analytics, cloud, digital engineering, enterprise platforms and managed services.

This executive will also provide integrated commercial leadership across the three sector businesses, strengthen pipeline discipline and market positioning, and help create a scalable growth engine capable of delivering significant new revenue.

The position carries responsibility for influencing and driving a nine-figure commercial portfolio and requires a leader with a demonstrated record of opening major new logos, creating substantial new revenue streams and shaping and closing complex enterprise opportunities.

This is a remote U.S.-based position with extensive domestic and international travel. East Coast residence is strongly preferred, although exceptional candidates from the Midwest may also be considered.

Qualifications

• Approximately 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise sales, business development, growth leadership or market development, ideally within global technology services, consulting, digital engineering or a highly relevant enterprise technology organization.

• Strong and current Life Sciences experience, with significant responsibility for selling into pharmaceutical, biotech or adjacent Life Sciences organizations.

• Meaningful exposure to Healthcare and Medical Devices / MedTech, either through current responsibilities or previous leadership assignments.

• Proven track record of acquiring major new logos and creating substantial new revenue streams. Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on account management, farming or inherited accounts will not be considered a strong match.

• Demonstrated experience carrying or influencing a nine-figure commercial portfolio, or leading a comparably complex growth initiative involving multiple industry segments, large strategic pursuits and global delivery teams.

• Strong executive relationships and an active industry network across pharmaceutical, biotech, MedTech, payer, provider and/or HealthTech organizations.

• Proven ability to originate, shape, negotiate and close complex, high-value enterprise opportunities and multi-year transformation engagements.

• Strong understanding of technology-led transformation, including several of the following areas: AI, data and analytics, cloud, enterprise applications, digital engineering, connected products, cybersecurity, intelligent operations and managed services.

• Solid understanding of regulated environments, including quality, compliance, regulatory requirements and the business realities of delivering mission-critical solutions across Life Sciences and Healthcare.

• Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with C-suite executives and translate industry challenges into strategic business and technology solutions.

• Ability to lead through influence across senior peers, established sector leaders and multidisciplinary global teams.

• Strong commercial judgment, executive presence, collaborative leadership style and clear accountability for results.

• East Coast U.S. residence is strongly preferred. Exceptional Midwest-based candidates may also be considered.

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally.

Additional Information

This is a confidential executive search for a newly created, high-impact leadership position with direct access to the Chief Business Officer and significant influence over a strategically important global portfolio.

The successful candidate will join an established platform with dedicated leadership across Life Sciences, Healthcare and Medical Devices, supported by global delivery capabilities and a strong enterprise client base.

This opportunity offers the ability to shape an integrated growth strategy across three complementary sectors, build a powerful new-logo engine and create measurable enterprise value at significant scale.

The position is U.S.-based and remote, with extensive domestic and international travel. East Coast candidates are strongly preferred, although exceptional candidates from the Midwest may also be considered.

A competitive executive compensation package will be structured based on experience and overall fit, including base salary, performance-based variable compensation and a long-term incentive component. Detailed compensation parameters will be discussed with qualified candidates during the selection process.

Due to the confidential nature of this search, the identity of the organization and additional details regarding the structure, leadership team and strategic growth plans will be shared with qualified candidates at the appropriate stage of the process.

All applications and conversations will be handled with strict confidentiality.

Total Compensation: Approximately $400,000–$500,000 USD annually, depending on experience and overall fit, including base salary, performance-based variable compensation, and long-term incentives.
