Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and conduct internal compliance audits for all internal SBUs of MAS Active whilst, supporting them in areas of improvement thereby, facilitating the achievement of required standards prior to external audit.
- Recommend improvements to current procedures / follow new instructions introduced by the cluster management in order to improve standards of social compliance, H&S in the plant.
- Implement, monitor and sustain international standards/practices in health and industrial safety in all areas, whilst conducting training and awareness sessions on health and safety and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
- Facilitate timely conduction of Customer Compliance audits and Certifications as per the given guidelines for all MAS Active SBUs by liaising with the external parties, Certification bodies and relevant plant representatives.
- Visit the Off-Site plants on a periodic basis, assist the plant compliance team in implementing required Compliance standards as per legal and customer requirements whilst, conducting internal compliance audits and rate them prior to the external audits in order to facilitate achievement of required standards.
- Organize monthly Compliance Forum and facilitate discussions among plant representatives with regard to compliance and sustainability thereby, arrive at action points to be implemented across relevant SBU’s, whilst, preparing meeting minutes to be circulated among the group.
- Update the compliance intranet on a regular basis whilst, uploading relevant information with regard to audits etc. to factory database in order to ensure that relevant/ accurate data is available at all times.
Knowledge and Skills:
Degree in Management or Social Sustainability.
2-4 years of relevant experience.
