About the Role

PAIR Finance is rethinking debt collection with AI-driven technology that assesses each debtor's situation individually and triggers automated, personalised communication, resulting in higher repayment rates without straining the customer relationship. None of that works without accurate numbers behind it, and that's where you come in.As Senior Financial Controller (f/m/d), you will own and improve our financial controlling system, building on a high, modern technological standard. You'll take ownership of reporting, planning and forecasting for the whole group, with real room to shape where this goes next.

Your Responsibilities:
- Work together with our Head of Controlling & BI, our CFO and our Finance team on further development of our controlling system for the PAIR Finance Group
- Own and drive forward financial performance and profitability monitoring
- Implement and support planning and forecasting tools
- Support other departments with planning and financial controlling, e.g. processes and customer relationships as well as answering commercial questions
- Develop financial KPIs and deviation analyzes to increase cost and revenue transparency
- Support the management team with the assessment of key figures as well as identifying and implementing efficiency improvements
- Participate in the preparation of monthly financial statements, monthly reporting, budget planning as well as short and medium-term liquidity planning
What we're looking for:
- A strong degree in economics or business studies with a focus on accounting/finance or comparable commercial training
- Several years of relevant professional experience in controlling
- Experience in setting up reporting and controlling processes and tools
- Confidence in using Excel and SQL
- Experience with PowerBI or other BI tools
- Proactivity and independency
- Excellent knowledge of English is required, good knowledge of German is a plus

- For this lead role, our salary band is € 97,000 - € 92,000 gross per year (based on a 40-hour work week). The exact offer will reflect your experience and qualifications
