POSITION SUMMARY

The Seasonal Valet & Outside Services Attendant is responsible for creating an exceptional arrival and departure experience for members and guests while supporting the Club's golf operations. As one of the first and last team members that Members and guests encounter, this full-time seasonal position plays an important role in delivering Hideaway Golf Club's standard of understated luxury, personalized service, and exceptional hospitality.

This cross-trained position provides valet parking services while also supporting Golf Outside Services by greeting members, assisting with golf bags, preparing and staging golf carts, maintaining the practice facilities, cleaning clubs, and ensuring members have everything they need for an exceptional golf experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Member Service & Hospitality

• Welcome members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure. 
• Learn and recognize members by name whenever possible.
• Become familiar with members' preferences and strive to provide personalized, anticipatory service whenever possible. 
• Create positive first and last impressions through exceptional hospitality. 
• Anticipate member needs and provide personalized service. 
• Assist members with loading and unloading golf bags and equipment. 
• Escort members to the Golf Shop, practice facilities, or clubhouse when appropriate. 
• Respond promptly and courteously to member requests. 
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent Hideaway Golf Club with pride. 

Valet Operations

• Safely park and retrieve member and guest vehicles in a timely manner. 
• Assist members with golf bags and personal golf equipment. 
• Open vehicle doors and provide umbrella assistance during inclement weather. 
• Exercise care and respect when handling Members’ belongings, which is an expectation in a luxury private club environment.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient valet operation. 
• Conduct a visual inspection of vehicles upon arrival and promptly report any pre-existing damage in accordance with Club procedures. 
• Immediately report accidents, vehicle damage, or safety concerns to management. 
• Follow all Club safety procedures and valet operating standards. 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the valet stand and arrival area. 

Golf Outside Services

• Prepare, clean, and stage golf carts to Hideaway standards. 
• Stage golf carts according to daily tee sheets, tournaments, and special events. 
• Clean and store golf carts following member use. 
• Clean members' golf clubs upon completion of play. 
• Assist with golf bag storage and retrieval. 
• Assist members with loading golf bags onto carts and ensuring clubs are properly secured prior to play.
• Maintain the bag drop area,      staging areas, and cart barn in a clean and organized condition. 
• Maintain the driving range and practice facilities, including picking the range, replenishing golf balls, and ensuring all practice areas are fully stocked and presentable. 
• Stock golf carts with towels, scorecards, pencils, tees, sand bottles, water, and other required amenities. 
• Assist with tournaments, member events, and special golf functions. 
• Perform routine inspections of golf carts and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. 

Operations & Teamwork

• Support both Valet and Golf Operations based on daily business needs. 
• Assist with opening and closing duties to ensure all valet and outside service areas are prepared for daily operations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all assigned work areas. 
• Communicate effectively with the Golf Shop and other departments to ensure seamless member service. 
• Follow all Club policies, safety procedures, and operational standards. 
• Participate in departmental meetings and training. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.
