About The Company
Downtown Partnership of Baltimore is your connection to everything that’s happening in Maryland’s largest business center, cultural district, and fastest-growing neighborhoods. Our members get special access to Downtown news and information, networking events, and marketing promotions. And, our web and social media tools help everyone find dining, shopping, events, and more. Our innovative programs stimulate economic development and transform public spaces. We’re also good neighbors. Our teams of uniformed Ambassadors pick up tons (literally) of litter, maintain public parks, and we host dozens of free events each month. Without Downtown Partnership, there would be no Baltimore Restaurant Week, First Thursday’s Concerts, Charm City Circulator, or holiday monument lighting in Mt. Vernon. We are also big proponents of the arts, supporting public art installations throughout Downtown neighborhoods, managing the Bromo Arts & Entertainment District, and working with property owners and local organizations to find new homes for arts and entertainment venues in Downtown Baltimore. We oversee the Downtown Management Authority (DMA), Baltimore’s oldest and largest business improvement district. Our programs – including our uniformed operations teams of Downtown Baltimore Guides, Clean Sweep Ambassadors, and Park Stewards – make the 106-block DMA district more attractive, vibrant, and hospitable. Additionally, the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore Foundation supports workforce development, employment of formerly incarcerated individuals, youth internships, homeless outreach, and small business assistance for people across Baltimore.
