About the Role

Description

TPG Pediatrics is looking for a FULL TIME LPN/RN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. We are a large pediatric practice in Northern Virginia dedicated to excellent patient care. TPG prides itself on providing work-life balance and an opportunity for growth for all of it's employees. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. Employee safety is a priority at TPG. We have daily cleaning procedures in place and provide PPE to include OSHA fit testing for all employees. Daytime weekday schedule between 7:30 and 5:30pm. Once per month rotation in our Saturday clinic (8am-1pm).

Hourly wage differentials are paid for our Saturday morning clinics.


The position is located at our Fairfax location


This is NOT a telework eligible position,

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs general nursing care for patients under the direction of the providers.
  • Arrange patient referrals to specialists, special tests, and/or hospital admissions.
  • Provides educational aids and information to parent/patients by telephone or in person.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND CREDENTIALS:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Experience preferred, preferably in a pediatric medical group practice but willing to train the right person.
  • Possession of a Commonwealth of Virginia Nursing License

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge required to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Skilled in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques of professional nursing to provide patient care.
  • Possess the ability to maintain quality control standards, react calmly and effectively in emergencies, interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures, communicate clearly, and work effectively with co-workers, while maintaining confidentiality of clinical information
