Your work will make a difference in keeping our community connected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on vans, cutaways, and full-size transit buses
- Service and repair diesel and electric drivetrains, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems

- Perform routine inspections in compliance with DOT and other applicable safety regulations
- Maintain accurate service records and work orders in the fleet maintenance system
- Complete road calls and emergency repairs as needed
- Order parts and maintain inventory of commonly used components
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and manufacturer specifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical training in automotive or diesel technology preferred
- Valid driver's license required;
- CDL (Class B) preferred or willingness to obtain;
- Diesel engine experience is a plus but not required — training available for the right candidate;
- Familiarity with electric vehicle systems a plus;
- Working knowledge of brake systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance procedures;
- Ability to use diagnostic scan tools and standard mechanic's hand/power tools;
- ASE certifications a plus (or willingness to pursue);
