Security & Law Enforcement Sales Leader

JOB PURPOSE |
The Security & Law Enforcement Sales Leader is responsible for expanding the Right to Bear Association's presence within the law enforcement, security company, and school safety communities nationwide.
This individual will build strategic relationships, establish new organizational partnerships, represent Right to Bear at major industry conferences, and develop programs that provide legal defense protection for those who protect others.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring an individual with an extensive network in law enforcement, private security, school safety, and public safety organizations. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving first responders and security professionals while driving measurable membership growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
Security Industry
- Meet with security companies as Right to Bear partners.
- Build relationships with security company owners and executives.
- Attend security association meetings and networking events.
- Develop partnerships with armed and unarmed security organizations.
- Expand coverage among executive protection professionals.
Law Enforcement
- Develop partnerships with municipal, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
- Build relationships with Chiefs of Police, Sheriffs, Command Staff, and Training Divisions.
- Present Right to Bear's Law Enforcement program to departments nationwide. Most law enforcement officers want payroll deduction; this option needs to be introduced.
- Coordinate agency presentations and educational workshops.
Represent Right to Bear at major national, state, and regional conferences, including:
- Law Enforcement Conferences
- School Resource Officer Conferences
- Security Industry Conferences
- Executive Protection Conferences
Conference Expectations:
- Coordinating booth presence.
- Scheduling speaking opportunities.
- Networking with decision-makers.
- Following up with qualified prospects.
Business Development:
- Identify new partnership opportunities nationwide.
- Prospect and secure new organizational accounts.
- Develop relationships with industry leaders and influencers.
- Coordinate outreach with the Regional Sales Leaders.
- Work closely with the Marketing team on campaigns targeted to law enforcement, security, and school safety professionals.
- Assist with developing new products and programs tailored to these markets.
Performance Expectations:
- Secure new law enforcement agency partnerships each month.
- Recruit new private security companies into the Right to Bear network.
- Develop relationships with school districts and school safety organizations.
- Attend major industry conferences throughout the year.
- Build a sustainable pipeline of qualified organizational opportunities.
- Achieve annual membership and partnership growth goals.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS |
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in the security, law enforcement, and/or sales industries
- Extensive network in law enforcement, private security, school safety, and public safety organizations.
- Passion for serving first responders and security professionals.
- Ability to build strategic relationships and drive measurable membership growth.
WORKING CONDITIONS |
This is a remote position requiring national travel. The position will represent Right to Bear at major national, state, and regional conferences, association meetings, networking events, agency presentations, educational workshops, public safety expos, and government safety summits.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS |
This remote outside sales position requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory, including driving, occasional air travel, and attendance at meetings, presentations, and events. The role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer or mobile device for extended periods, as well as lift and carry sales materials or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
