About the Role

Your mission


Position Mission

Actively collaborate in the supervision of the operation of international solar photovoltaic and onshore wind plants, in coordination with local and corporate teams, ensuring the most optimized performance of the installed plants. This role will also help guarantee technical suitability as well as technical and economic efficiency.

What will you learn with us?

You will learn how to create and implement best practices regarding processes and procedures to support and improve business performance and monitoring. Your tasks will be carried out while reporting to the Control Center Coordinator.

Main Responsibilities

  • Control and supervise all connected facilities.
  • Monitor production and ensure that plants operate within design parameters in a reliable, safe, and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that processes and procedures are followed and comply with all applicable codes, rules, regulations, and laws.
  • Manage the Service together with the Control Center Manager.
  • Develop Service Requests, interact with accounting for job setup, etc.
  • Assist in resolving any O&M (Operations & Maintenance) issues.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Visually monitor and read parameters, data points, and sensor outputs at specified intervals to verify operating conditions and detect faults and malfunctions.
  • Develop the integration of new projects into SCADA.
  • Perform diagnostic analysis of operational data to evaluate operational performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the development of organizational initiatives and procedures.
  • Carry out other additional tasks as required.

Your profile

Requirements and Personal Skills

Education: Higher Vocational Training (FPII) in Renewable Energy, Electricity and Electronics (or related fields).

Professional Experience: Experience in a Control Center or similar positions within the energy sector is valued.

Required Knowledge: A high level of proficiency in the MS Office suite (especially Excel) is required. Practical knowledge of SCADA/CMMS systems will be considered an advantage.

Additional Assets: English and Spanish (full professional proficiency). Additional languages (French/Portuguese) are a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work under multitasking responsibilities.
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines and DPOs.
  • Ability to work in shifts.
