Description
We are looking for an experienced DCJRF Level 3 Technician with diesel experience to join our service team. This position is ideal for a well-rounded technician who is comfortable handling diesel repairs and diagnostics in addition to general Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Fiat and Ram repair work.
This is not a diesel-only position. You will be responsible for diesel work as it comes into the shop while also completing other maintenance, diagnostic, warranty, and repair work based on shop needs.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair Ram diesel vehicles, including diesel engine, fuel, emissions, and aftertreatment systems.
- Perform general Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Fiat & Ram diagnostics and repairs.
- Handle electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and other mechanical concerns.
- Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs according to manufacturer standards.
- Complete thorough Multi-Point Inspections with photos and videos.
- Accurately document Concern, Cause & Correction on every repair.
- Utilize manufacturer diagnostic equipment and resources to accurately diagnose vehicle concerns.
- Communicate needed repairs, parts requirements, and additional time needed to the service advisor.
- Complete repairs efficiently and correctly the first time.
- Road test and verify repairs when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Requirements
- DCJRF Level 3 certification/ required.
- Strong diesel diagnostic and repair experience.
- Ability and willingness to work on both diesel and non-diesel vehicles.
- Strong electrical and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience with Stellantis diagnostic systems, procedures, and warranty repairs.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy dealership environment.
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and fixing vehicles right the first time.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to meet dealership pre-employment requirements.
