In this role, you will serve as a vital lifeline for our clients—helping them access, apply for, and maintain essential public benefits such as Medicaid, Social Security (SSDI/SSI), and SNAP. By removing hurdles to healthcare and financial stability, you empower our clients to focus entirely on their healing and wellness journey.
The responsibilities for this position span over several key programs, including Choices, Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES), and Mobile Crisis (MCT).

What You Will Do
- Client Advocacy & Navigation: Guide clients seamlessly through applications, eligibility determinations, and redeterminations for Medicaid, SSDI/SSI, and vital community resources.
- Insurance Support: Provide assistance for insurance cases, welcoming new clients without Medicaid, and helping them establish coverage.
- Benefits & Account Management: Gather required documentation, assist clients in setting up online benefit platforms (such as NH EASY), and manage income-change reporting.
- Proactive Follow-Along Support: Educate clients on their benefits, troubleshoot coverage hurdles, and offer ongoing support to ensure long-term stability and continued eligibility.
- Medicare & Prior Authorizations: Manage Medicare forms and ABN updates; expertly obtain, track, and report prior authorizations while coordinating timely renewals.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records, uphold strict confidentiality protocols, and ensure full compliance with State, Federal, SAMHSA, and agency standards.

Requirements
What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two (2) years’ experience in diversified office work is preferred.
- Experience with Medicaid and Medicaid procedures preferred.
- A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance with minimum coverage of 100,00/300,00 are essential.
