Job Summary
Since 1970, Great Floors has grown into a thriving organization with retail, commercial, and builder showrooms positioned across the Pacific Northwest. Great Floors is a subsidiary of Artisan Design Group. Great Floors is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Driver to support our Nampa, Idaho location. The basic function of the role is receiving products from vendors and preparing orders for shipment. In addition, to moving material safely and accurately between vendors and warehouses. This includes checking, labeling and securing material, keeping track of paperwork and assisting with loading and unloading.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Count and stock materials in accordance with inventory control procedures
- Receive and verify incoming products from vendors
- Prepare and dispatch materials to installers
- Pack orders accurately and methodically, and complete job packages for shipment
- Identify and report any damage, lost, or missing materials promptly
- Handle all materials with care to ensure quality and prevent damage
- Daily pre-trip inspections and reporting of any equipment issues
- Safely and legally transport material between vendors and warehouses
- Secure cargo to prevent damage
Requirements
Education, Experience & Qualifications
Education
- High school education or equivalent
Experience
- 1-2 years warehouse and driving experience
- Previous experience operating a vehicle with GVWR of over 10,000 lbs.
Department of Transportation Requirements
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical, pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review. In addition, this position requires ongoing compliance with annual MVR reviews and DOT physical renewals and may also be subject to random drug and alcohol testing for the duration of employment.

- Mobility: Frequently required to move throughout the office, warehouse, or job site to access materials, equipment, or files.
- Lifting/Carrying: Frequently lifts and/or moves items weighing up to [25/50/75] pounds.
- Positioning: May be required to position oneself to inspect, maintain, or install materials, including stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and exchange accurate information with customers and team members, including in busy or noisy environments.
Work Environment The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
- Warehouse/Facility: May be exposed to non-climate-controlled environments (heat and cold), moving mechanical parts, vibration, and elevated noise levels.
- Job Site/Field: Exposure to active construction sites, outdoor weather conditions, dust, and fumes. Requires use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
- Travel: Requires travel to local vendors/warehouses.
