About the Role

Description

Run the floor. Build what's next.

DSA Doors is looking for a Plant Manager to take ownership of production and warehouse operations.

This is more than a management role. You'll have the opportunity to build a stronger, more disciplined production operation—raising the bar on quality, reliability, and team performance as DSA continues to grow.

If you lead from the floor, catch problems before they become delays, and enjoy building a team that performs at a higher level, this could be the opportunity for you.

What You'll Own

  • Production Operations
Direct daily production and warehouse activity—scheduling, staffing, quality, on-time delivery, and safety—so the plant runs smoothly and predictably.
  • Quality & Inventory Systems
Own production, inventory, and quality systems and processes, using KPIs and continuous improvement to catch issues early and raise the standard.
  • Team Leadership
Build a collaborative, accountable team. Coach, train, and develop your people, and enforce standards consistently across every shift.
  • Continuous Improvement
Bring Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, or similar principles to the floor—not as a program, but as how the plant actually operates.
  • Partnership & Reporting
Work closely with the Director of Operations on priorities, staffing, and capital needs, and provide clear, reliable reporting up to leadership.

What Success Looks Like

You'll know you're making an impact when:

  • Production schedules are met consistently, with fewer surprises.
  • Quality and KPI metrics are trending in the right direction.
  • Your team is trained, accountable, and performing at a higher level.
  • Inventory  records are accurate and dependable.
  • Continuous improvement is visible on the floor, not just on paper.
  • Leadership has a clear, honest picture of plant performance at all times.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have 6+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Have 4+ years leading a team of 30+ employees, including experience managing 50+      across functions.
  • Understand quality standards, safety regulations, and inventory management.
  • Can make sound decisions under pressure and drive results.
  • Are comfortable being on the floor and in the details when it matters.
  • Communicate clearly with production teams, technicians, and leadership.
  • Bring a continuous improvement mindset to everyday operations.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, or ERP systems (Acumatica a plus) is a plus.

Why This Role?

Because you won't simply inherit an operation and maintain it. You'll help shape it.

DSA is looking for someone who can bring structure, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset to how the plant runs—and build the foundation for a stronger operation as the business grows.

If you're ready to take ownership of a production floor and make a visible impact, we'd like to talk.
