San Diego-based Commercial Property Services Company is seeking an experienced Associate Project Manager – Property Services, Repairs & Maintenance, and Tenant Improvements to join our growing team.

About the Position


This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple projects and teams, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to commercial property clients.


As an Associate Project Manager – Property Services, Repairs & Maintenance, and Tenant Improvements, you will support the planning, coordination, and successful execution of commercial property repair, maintenance, renovation, and tenant improvement projects throughout San Diego County. Working closely with Project Managers and Operations leadership, you will help coordinate schedules, subcontractors, materials, project documentation, and client communication, while building the technical and leadership skills needed to independently manage projects in the future.


What You’ll Do

  • Support Project Managers in coordinating multiple commercial property service projects from initiation through completion. 
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, internal teams, schedules, and material deliveries. 
  • Assist with preparing project estimates, scopes of work, proposals, and purchase orders. 
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety. 
  • Help track project schedules, budgets, and documentation. 
  • Communicate project updates to clients, vendors, and internal teams under the direction of the Project Manager. 
  • Assist in resolving project issues and escalating concerns as appropriate. 
  • Prepare reports and maintain project information in the company software. 
  • Support field operations and assist with troubleshooting as needed. 
  • Represent LOT professionally while developing strong client relationships. Prepare project documentation, updates, and reports using company software systems      
  • Support field operations and assist with troubleshooting or minor repairs when needed.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
  • Professionally represent LOT Commercial Property Services while interacting with property      owners, property managers, tenants, vendors, and contractors

About You

You are proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented with strong leadership and communication skills. You can confidently manage multiple projects without sacrificing quality, timelines, or customer service. You take ownership of your work, exercise sound judgment, and work collaboratively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to drive successful project outcomes.


You thrive in this role if you:

  • Have a background in commercial property services, facilities management, tenant improvement management, general contracting, or construction estimating in a related role such as Project Management, Building Engineer, or Property Services Operations.
  • Can prioritize multiple projects and tasks while maintaining attention to detail. 
  • Working knowledge of commercial construction, maintenance, or tenant improvement projects with a desire to continue learning. 
  • Build strong working relationships with Territory Managers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Are hands-on and willing to troubleshoot issues in the field when necessary
  • Communicate professionally and provide excellent customer service
  • Are resourceful, accountable, and detail-oriented
  • Take pride in delivering high-quality work and exceptional client experiences

Skills and Experience Required:


· At least 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, tenant improvements, facilities maintenance, property services, commercial building operations, or a related field in a similar role. 

· Experience supporting construction or maintenance projects is strongly preferred

· Ability to read scopes of work, proposals, and project documentation. 

· Strong organizational and communication skills. 

· Basic estimating or project coordination experience preferred. Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members effectively.

· The ability to identify and address issues that may arise during projects is crucial.

· Effective time management skills for meeting project deadlines.

· Proficiency in project management software, such as ZOHO, SAGE, or other CRM.

· Must have a Valid California Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.

· This role requires regular travel to support properties across San Diego County.

About Benefits and Compensation

This position pays between $33.65 – 37.50 per hour, depending on experience.
