Scale Room Attendant

Description

The Scale Room Attendant will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will be responsible for accurately weighing and recording incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining records, and providing administrative support.

 Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating truck scale ensuring that all incoming and outgoing trucks are weighed, documented and load information is verified.
• Verify paperwork against shipping and receiving documents.
• Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Record and document weight measurements, quantities, dates, and other relevant data.
• Procure supplies, parts, and equipment as requested.
• Maintain and promote safety awareness; follow safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work experience.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or logistics, is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using basic computer software (MS Office Suite).
• Ability to interact well with others.
