The global HR organization includes HR business partners, learning and development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee communications, and HR system operations.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct fair, thorough, and timely investigations into allegations of violations of KLA’s policies or local law and policies to ensure fair treatment of all employees.
  • Initiate and complete all investigation steps, including document review, interviews, investigation reports, recommend remedial actions, and reporting out on investigation findings, trends, and related metrics. 
  • Manage and work with third party resources, such as digital forensics, investigation, and document review firms.
  • Manage document reviews, including the collection, review, and analysis of relevant documents.
  • Conduct employee training on KLA’s investigation process, including reporting channels and the importance of raising issues.
  • Support the Global Employee Relations Center of Excellence on other projects, initiatives, and strategic opportunities as may arise from time-to-time.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4-year undergraduate degree in Employee Relations, Human Resources or related fields.
  • At least 8+ years professional experience conducting internal workplace investigations in-house or at a law firm.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (verbal and written). 
  • Familiarity with employment laws in Taiwan and APAC.
  • Willingness to collaborate across teams, multiple regions and time zones, including international travel.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, influencing and writing skills.
  • Self-motivated and persistent; strong ability and comfort in exercising independent judgment for obtaining results while managing legal risk.
