Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Field Engineer – Lighting and AV to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lighting and audio-visual systems for various projects and events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in fast-paced environments.
- Install, configure, and test lighting systems including LED fixtures, conventional lighting, and moving light equipment
- Set up and integrate audio-visual systems including projection, audio equipment, and control systems
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and technical support to resolve system issues efficiently
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of lighting and AV equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and vendors to understand technical requirements and deliver solutions
- Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and local requirements
- Document system configurations, technical specifications, and maintenance activities
- Assist in the planning and execution of complex lighting and AV installations for events, venues, and corporate environments
- Travel to various project sites as needed to support installations and provide technical support
- Maintain organized inventory records and equipment logs
Qualifications
- 10 years of professional experience in field engineering, lighting installation, or audio-visual systems
- Proficiency with lighting design and installation techniques
- Strong knowledge of AV systems including projection, audio equipment, and control platforms
- Experience with rigging, mounting, and installation of equipment
- Solid understanding of electrical safety protocols and industry compliance standards
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in equipment maintenance and repair
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel and work on-site at various locations
- Preferred: Project management experience
- Preferred: Experience with multiple AV platforms and control systems
- Preferred: Knowledge of live event production or venue management
- Preferred: Experience with documentation and technical reporting systems
