Senior Executive / Assistant Manager - Costing

Managing inventory operations, including daily inventory reporting, transaction monitoring, variance investigation and reconciliation between sub-ledger and GL, as well as coordinating E&O scrap activities.
Prepares inventory forecasts for POR and monthly inventory reports to support APHQ requirements and business decision-making.
Responsible for maintaining and managing the complete fixed asset register, ensuring all acquired assets are accurately recorded, tagged, and accounted for in line with approved asset requests.
Prepares monthly asset schedules, depreciation, additions and disposals, processes asset disposition requests, and performs month-end GL close and reconciliation for fixed assets.
Ensuring proper governance and control over capital expenditure by reviewing Capex proposals, validating documentation, preparing ROI analyses for major projects, and obtaining necessary approvals before investment decisions.
Monitors Capex spending and CIP balances, reviews asset capitalization, maintains monthly Capex reports and forecasts, and supports the annual budgeting process in collaboration with project managers.
Responsible for reviewing and evaluating cost reduction project submissions from departments, while working closely with and supporting the Cost Reduction Champion to drive savings initiatives.
Prepares and submits monthly cost reduction reports and develops annual cost reduction targets to support organizational objectives.
Managing item cost setting and product costing activities, including standard cost maintenance, inventory revaluation, costing journal entries, and ensuring accurate material and labour allocations in manufacturing processes.
Performs detailed variance and cost analysis for materials, labor, burden, and related expenses while ensuring work orders are properly processed and closed monthly.
Prepares CAR reports, supports inventory valuation activities, and leads the annual standard cost review and update process to ensure accurate product costing and financial reporting.
Responsible for leading annual stock take and fixed asset sighting exercises, performing bank reconciliations, handling costing computations, and supporting operational teams with financial and system-related requirements in coordination with ITSS.
Manages internal and external audit requirements and conducts ad hoc financial analysis to support business decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

- ICWA / CMA Inter with minimum 5 years of experience in Material Master Cost Update and related Costing in a Manufacturing entity.
- IExperience in product costing, ideally in an automotive, manufacturing or engineering environment
Good IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills.
Ideally experienced in the use of spreadsheets, estimating pricing models and cost management tools
Able to show evidence of adding value and cost optimization.
Knowledge and understanding of a variety of manufacturing/automotive processes and components and ability to evaluate and analyse associated costs
