About the Role

For our Electrolux Professional Laundry team in Australia, we are looking for a Service Technician who would be responsible for conducting technical support activities to ensure Electrolux Professional’s customers after sales services excellence. Also, to provide technical products training to internal Professionals, and external to customers and third parties to ensure excellence in product knowledge.

As a Service Technician, your responsibilities shall include the following:

 

  • Fully responsible for coordinating and resolving technical issues that arise on site with customers or dealers.

  • Carry out Service, maintenance, diagnosis, parts installation, machine installation, testing and commissioning of the laundry equipment at customers sites or dealer sites. 

  • Documentation - service activities documented accurately and maintain records of repairs and maintenance

  • Provide accurate information to the back end of office and complete the commercial service to the customer in a timely manner.

  • Technical support – Provide technical support and solutions for equipment effectively, online or offline.

  • Technical training – Periodically provide operations and technical training to customers and dealers.

  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to our products and services

  • Establish and maintain a good relationship with clients, act as a trusted advisor

  • Travel to regional areas outside of Sydney to provide support to service and support when required.

  • Manage stock and spare parts for your work vehicle.

  • Collaborate with the team to coordinate service schedules and workload distribution.

  • Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or improvements for clients

 

Qualification:

  • Electrician, Fitter or Automotive Industry experience

  • Experience in gas heated appliances

  • Strong understanding in electrical troubleshooting, able to read and understand circuit diagrams

  • Proficient is resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to convince external parties to accept new practices, approaches, and solutions

  • Experience in a similar industry of 1 – 2 years.

  • Computer literacy

  • Good spoken and written communication skills in English.
