Head of Product – Sofia, Bulgaria (Relocation)

We are working with a fast-growing B2B sportsbook technology company powering operators across Europe and Latin America.

They are now entering an exciting transformation phase, rebuilding their product and R&D operation for the next stage of growth. This is a hands-on product leadership role, working closely with engineers and R&D rather than managing from a distance.

You will own the product strategy, lead the product team and help define how product development evolves in an AI-first environment.

What you will own

• Lead the product team and own the journey from ideas and specifications through to builds and releases

• Define the AI-first product operating model, including specification, prototyping and validation

• Extend and optimise SportOS, including APIs, backend capabilities, versioning and developer experience

• Lead a detailed product capability audit against leading sportsbook platforms and create a roadmap to close key gaps

• Own product roadmap and prioritisation alongside operators, Trading and Engineering

• Represent Product with key operators and prospects

What success looks like

Within the first 12 months, you will:

• Improve the speed and quality of the Product-to-R&D cycle

• Complete the capability audit and establish a clear, prioritised development plan

• Deliver new backend features and APIs that are adopted by operators in production

• Establish a modern AI-driven product operating model

• Build a roadmap that gives the commercial team a clear direction to sell against

What we are looking for

• Proven experience building products directly alongside Engineering/R&D teams, with strong technical involvement in specifications and trade-offs

• Experience building and managing product teams and development processes, not just roadmaps

• Strong understanding of how AI is changing product management and software development

• AI-first mindset, with practical experience using AI tools across specification, prototyping and validation

• Comfortable working directly with operators and balancing product scope against commercial value

• Sportsbook or betting experience is a plus, but not essential
