About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to support the planning, design, and implementation of major highway, bridge and road infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting traffic studies, forecasting traffic demand, evaluating transportation networks, developing traffic management strategies, and ensuring efficient and safe movement of people and goods.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies for road and highway infrastructure projects.
Prepare procurement plans, tender documents, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and bidding documents.
Manage prequalification, tendering, bid evaluation, contract award, and negotiation processes.
Maintain procurement and contract records, reports, and audit documentation
Support project risk management related to procurement and contract administration.
Provide procurement and contract advisory services to project stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent/relevant degree
Minimum 5 years’ experience in preparation of bidding documents and in procurement of Works, Goods, Consulting and Non consulting Services, preparation of strategic procurement plan (or equivalent document) for projects, preferably for projects funded by MDBs.

Good communication in English Language
