Overall purpose of the Job  

To play a key role in supporting corporate lending activities by ensuring the accurate administration, monitoring, and settlement of credit facilities. The role contributes to high-quality data management, regulatory compliance, and the smooth execution of lending operations in an international banking environment.

The role includes the following:  

  • Managing loan administration and credit settlement for Japanese and European corporate customers.

  • Recording and maintaining credit facilities, loan securities, credit ratings, and related information in internal systems.

  • Reviewing credit documentation and monitoring facility conditions and maturity dates.

  • Performing data quality checks to ensure completeness and consistency across systems.

  • Supporting audits, projects, and Treasury Middle Office activities.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders across Amsterdam and London.

    In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following: 

    • Completed apprenticeship in banking, or a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking, or a related field.

    • Experience in credit operations and syndicated lending transactions, including loan processing and administration.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

    • Professional and confident communication style with strong interpersonal skills.

    • Team-oriented, proactive, and able to build effective working relationships across stakeholders.

    • Flexible, resilient, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
