About the Role

This Full-Time Exempt position is based on a 40-hour work week with a salary pay range of $51,750 - $69,345. 

 

This position is part of the Public Employees Union (PEU) Collective bargaining agreement and will work at Utilities Building located at 1900 2nd Avenue North, Lake Worth, FL 33461.

 

Pay Rate: $51,750 - $69,345

JOB SUMMARY: 

Reporting to Assistant Director System Operations, the NERC Document Control Analyst is responsible to develop effective and efficient documentation to support the NERC requirements for the reliability and security of the Lake Worth Beach Electrical Grid.

  • The primary responsibility for this position will be to administer and manage the document control program.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the compliance document management and records retention policies and related procedures, to ensure the compliance with NERC Standards.
  • Ensure effective document management is aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and pillars.
  • Planning and development of documents which address NERC’s evolving information management needs, including adopting a data-driven, pro-learning and digital first culture.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain clear document management process/procedures, guidelines, and best practices that enable efficiencies, support adoption, and are compliant with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify potential areas that could be susceptible to cybersecurity breaches and document methods to make sure data remains secure as required by NERC.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the effectiveness of the document management program to identify opportunities for improvements and any identified control weaknesses.
  • Update the procedures and policies on the frequency required by NERC.

Supervision: This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The position requires High School Diploma/GED Required and a minimum of five (5) years of document management and control.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Risk Management Programs
  • Ability to tackle issues, and effectively work through issues collaboratively.
  • Experience in working with regulatory agencies to ensure adequate documentation
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including delivery of effective presentations.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of NERC or another federal and national regulatory agency

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation and extended periods of time standing and/or walking.

 

SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Some tasks require manual dexterity, in addition to visual and hearing acuity. Some tasks may involve identifying and distinguishing colors. Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally and in writing.

 

All full-time employees are considered critical in response to emergency situations and may be deemed essential as needed depending on the situation.  

Employees in this position will be required to complete the FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) Certification Levels 100,200,700 and 800 within the first six months of employment.  Certain positions may be required to attain additional ICS training as needed.
