About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Boat Crew-Intern to join our Front Office team in Jumeirah Olhahali Island. 

• Uphold Jumeirah's values and brand standards, proactively ensuring guest satisfaction with timely, attentive service.
• Maintain effective communication with the Airport and Resort teams to ensure smooth and organized guest arrivals and departures.
• Support the Speedboat Captain in filling out checklists and maintaining records of voyage details, fuel balance, and operational hours of engines and generators.
• Assist in conducting checks on speedboats’ technical, navigational, and mechanical requirements, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Assist the Speedboat Captain in the mooring, fastening, and refueling of speedboats, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Ensure the secure storage of luggage and goods, following safety guidelines during transportation.
• Provide guests with safety briefings and amenities as per the established Step by Step/Sequence of Service standards for speedboats.
• Work together with the Speedboat Captain and Boat Hosts to deliver exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
• Consistently record and update voyage details, fuel levels, and operational hours in alignment with Jumeirah Olhahali Island’s established policies and procedures.
• Execute tasks as directed by guests, supervisors, or management, ensuring all requests are handled promptly and professionally.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: 

• Fresh graduate with a high school diploma or preferred with completion of a maritime, hospitality, or tourism-related course/program.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tasks efficiently 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
• A positive, proactive attitude with a focus to learn and gain hands-on experience in marine operations relative to hospitality.
