Lead Maintenance & Operations Supervisor for a New State-of-the-Art Surface Treatment Plant in Cuxhaven

Ziel der Position:

Would you like to help build and operate one of Europe's most modern surface treatment plants?

We are looking for a technically strong and committed Lead Maintenance & Operations Supervisor for our new high-tech surface treatment facility in Cuxhaven, Germany.

You will be a key person in the establishment and subsequent operation of a highly automated production facility, with a focus on high uptime, quality, safety, and efficient operations.

During the start-up and commissioning phase, you will work at our facility in Varde, Denmark, for an expected period of approximately six to twelve months. This will be a temporary assignment. After commissioning, your permanent contractual workplace will be our factory in Cuxhaven, Germany.

As Lead Maintenance & Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring high operational stability and optimal utilisation of the plant's technical installations.

Among other things, you will work with:

  • Responsibility for the daily technical operation of the surface treatment plant
  • Preventive maintenance and optimisation of production equipment
  • Troubleshooting of automated systems and technical installations
  • Ensuring high uptime and stable 24/7 operations
  • Building and managing a small technical team
  • Cooperation with external suppliers and service partners
  • Participation in FAT, SAT, testing and commissioning of new equipment
  • Documentation, follow-up and continuous improvements
  • Cooperation with Danish and German colleagues on operations, maintenance and production optimisation
  • Participation in the development of maintenance strategies and spare parts management

Ihr Profil:

We imagine that you have a technical background, for example as:

  • Automation Technician
  • Industrial Electrician
  • Marine Engineer
  • Production Technologist
  • Mechanic with experience in automated systems
  • or a similar technical education

In addition, we would like you to:

  • Have experience with the operation and maintenance of automated production facilities
  • Have a good understanding of automation, PLC controls and industrial process plants
  • Be structured and systematic in your approach to work
  • Be able to work both operationally and tactically
  • Thrive on responsibility and be able to take ownership of technical challenges
  • Have experience with or an interest in managing employees
  • Be motivated by achieving results through collaboration

Experience with surface treatment, painting, process plants or chemical production processes is an advantage, but not a requirement, as training will be provided.

 

Languages

As the position involves close cooperation between Danish and German organisations, it is an advantage if you are proficient in:

  • Danish
  • German
  • English

The most important thing, however, is that you are able to operate professionally in an international environment.
