About the Role:

As a Sales Account Manager, you’ll serve as a trusted partner for our customers, managing relationships, quotes, and projects to ensure their needs are met with excellence. You’ll also collaborate across teams to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the success of UMC. What You’ll Do

Quote Management:

  • Review and manage customer quotes, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to deliver timely, accurate quotes.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships as their primary point of contact.
  • Prepare and lead site visits with detailed planning and professional presentations.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare for and execute site visits, including presentation and logistical planning.

Forecasting and Planning:

  • Align internal planning with customer projections, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Verify purchase orders, confirm dock dates, and conduct open order reviews.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for successful new product introductions.
  • Work closely with other departments to drive operational excellence and meet customer expectations.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing.
  • 2+ years in engineering, sales, or customer service in a technical environment.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing ERP systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical device (ISO13485) or aerospace (AS9100) industries is a plus

Skills and Competencies:

  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical mindset with exceptional data analysis skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T concepts.

Travel:

  • Flexibility to travel up to 15%, including occasional overnight trips.
