About the Role

Description

Come join the largest independent Medical Waste Service Provider in the country for an exciting position! We provide excellent customer service to local hospitals and healthcare professionals and represent one of the most prominent companies in the Medical Waste Industry. As a Dock Worker, you will be responsible for moving and processing received medical waste through established practices, maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the floor area and general plant, and practicing strict safety procedures. This role includes paid training, company-provided uniforms, leading health benefits, tuition reimbursement, vacation/PTO after 90 days, and Stay-On bonuses making this a strong opportunity to build a rewarding career within an essential, mission-driven industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the loading and unloading of carts.
  • Maintain the unloading area for cleanliness and safety.
  • Inspect carts for damage, missing lids or handles, and overall cleanliness.
  • Cycle carts through tippers and cart washers.
  • Unload box waste from trailers and place boxes on conveyors.
  • Monitor the number of boxes unloaded and record on appropriate documentation.
  • Operate box waste scale station as required.
  • Monitor and record scale weights for billing purposes.
  • Perform general plant cleanup duties, including cleaning up spilled waste or materials.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, overtime, and weekends as required.
  • Ability to work as a team member quickly, safely, and responsibly.
  • Must be able to lift loads of 50–75 pounds and push/pull loads up to 200 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
