About the Role

Company Description

A Fresh Start — Without Leaving Great Medicine Behind

If you’re ready for a fresh chapter in your veterinary career, Greencross Vet Centre (GVC) Norwood offers something genuinely different.

Our purpose‑built clinic is co‑located with the Adelaide Veterinary Services & Referral Centre, creating one of the few sites in South Australia where general practice, emergency, and Dermatology referral services all operate under one roof. It’s an environment designed to support excellent medicine, strong collaboration, and continuous learning without the pressure to be everything on your own.

Why GVC?

Located just 4km east of Adelaide’s CBD, Greencross Vet Centre in Norwood, gives you the best of both worlds: inner‑city convenience and access to advanced diagnostics and emergency support on‑site.

As a GP veterinarian here, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Practice high‑quality general practice medicine with strong clinical backup
  • Collaborate closely with emergency clinicians
  • Manage more complex or interesting cases while still working within GP hours
  • Learn organically through proximity to advanced care, imaging, and referral cases

This is an ideal environment for vets who want to grow their capability and confidence, without losing balance or burning out.

The Clinic Environment

GVC is a modern, purpose‑built facility equipped with advanced diagnostic imaging including CT, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, and ultrasound, along with a dedicated emergency service operating 24/7 on site and a dermatology department.

The Benefit for You?

Confidence in your decisions, easy escalation when needed, and the reassurance that your patients can receive seamless care.
