OPERATIONS GENERALIST-BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (102A82526)

SALARY TARGET: 70,000.00
Who we are
Infinite Campus is an educational software company that helps K12 school districts manage their day-to-day operations. We’ve been around for over 30 plus years and are the most trusted name in student information. Our customers include school districts across the United States and our products support more than ten million students.
What you’ll do
The Operations Generalist – Business Development will support and improve the systems, data, processes, and workflows that enable the Business Development team to operate effectively. At entry, the employee will perform data cleaning, validation, and audits; monitor data integrity; manage enhancement requests; maintain accurate documentation; research opportunities to improve system performance and usability; and communicate system changes and enhancements to impacted teams. As the employee becomes competent in the role, they will take greater ownership of Business Development applications, including Salesforce and related systems, maintain Salesforce as the primary source of truth, manage reports and dashboards, support CPQ and pricing updates, identify automation and efficiency opportunities, partner with IT on system enhancements, troubleshoot user issues, and contribute to cross-functional and executive-level projects. They will also support user training, onboarding materials, system access, and provide coverage for the Business Development Coordinator when needed.
Who you are
The right candidate is a self-directed, systems-oriented individual who is naturally curious about how technology, processes, and workflows work together. This person should be comfortable learning new systems quickly, working independently with minimal direction, troubleshooting problems, and taking ownership of issues and outcomes. They should enjoy finding ways to make processes more efficient and be comfortable working with both technical teams and non-technical users. A strong candidate will also be an effective communicator who can translate technical information into clear, user-friendly language, build relationships across teams and leadership, and support others without relying on formal authority. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience, would provide an appropriate foundation for the position.
Your skill-set
The employee will need strong technical aptitude, the ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems, and experience with CRM or similar systems. They should be able to understand how systems function beyond the surface level, recognize how different tools connect and affect the broader business, and approach problems with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset. Strong communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, organization, and follow-through will be important immediately. As they become competent in the position, they will need to develop a deeper understanding of Business Development workflows and processes, become proficient in Salesforce and the other Business Development systems, and build skills in system administration, data management, reporting, dashboards, CPQ and pricing management, automation, system enhancement, project coordination, user support, training, and cross-functional partnership with IT and other teams.
