Heartline Staffing is recruiting an experienced Financial Planner - Lead for an established wealth management and financial planning firm in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. This is primarily a non-sales, relationship-focused financial planning role for someone who enjoys developing comprehensive financial and retirement plans while building long-term, trusted client relationships.

The firm has served the Buffalo Grove and Chicago area for more than 20 years, oversees approximately $350 million in total assets, and serves approximately 700 families across multiple financial services and divisions.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Financial Planner - Lead will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and provide day-to-day financial planning support within a team-based structure. New advisory clients are sourced and onboarded by Lead Advisors and then transitioned to the Financial Planner - Lead for ongoing planning, service, and relationship management.

While primarily a non-sales role, there are opportunities to identify additional assets and cross-sale opportunities within existing client relationships.

COMPENSATION
• $121,000-$150,000
• Performance-based bonus

SCHEDULE
• Monday-Thursday: 8:45 AM-5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:45 AM-2:30 PM, assuming all high-priority tasks and work are completed
• Paid lunch hours
• On-site in Buffalo Grove, IL

ROLE
• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients within the Holistic Wealth Management division.
• Service client needs, requests, questions, and updates.
• Prepare comprehensive financial plan recommendations.
• Develop robust retirement income plans and retirement plan tracking.
• Prepare investment portfolio summaries and asset allocation analyses.
• Meet regularly with clients to establish trusting, supportive relationships.
• Prepare and analyze financial planning reports.
• Utilize tax planning software to assess client tax situations and strategies.
• Run, review, and compare illustrations for annuities, life insurance, and long-term care to identify appropriate options for clients.
• Oversee preparation of one-off financial planning analyses as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and advisors on client cases.
• Conduct regular client reviews according to the assigned Service Model.
• Proactively check in with clients throughout the year to ensure client needs are met.
• Utilize proprietary planning software for data input and development of comprehensive retirement plans.

• 3+ Years Of Experience Working Directly With Clients As A Financial Planner REQUIRED
• Series 65 Or Series 66 License REQUIRED
• Bachelor's Degree From An Accredited College Or University REQUIRED
• CFP Designation Must Be Obtained Within 2 Years From Hire Date REQUIRED
• Life Insurance License Must Be Obtained Within 6 Months From Hire Date REQUIRED
• Very Strong Microsoft Excel Experience REQUIRED
• Highly Detail-Oriented And Accurate REQUIRED
• Ability To Multitask And Track Multiple Items / Projects Simultaneously REQUIRED
• Ability To Build And Maintain Strong Client Relationships REQUIRED
• Ability To Work On-Site In Buffalo Grove, IL REQUIRED
