🏆 Recreation Manager – Athletics

Do you love athletics, bringing people together, and making things happen? The City of La Vista is looking for an energetic, organized Recreation Manager to lead our athletic programs and create great experiences for athletes, families, coaches, officials, and the community.

In this role, you'll:

• 🏀 Coordinate youth and adult leagues, and athletic special events.
• 🏟️ Manage fields, schedules, equipment, and concessionaire contract.
• 👥 Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise part time staff, officials, and volunteers.
• 🤝 Build relationships with participants, families, coaches, partners, and community organizations.
• 📣 Promote programs and help grow participation.
• 📊 Manage registrations, program data, budgets, and day-to-day operations.
• 💡 Bring new ideas to the table and help make La Vista's athletic programs even better.

We're looking for a people-focused leader who enjoys connecting with the community, can stay organized, solve problems, adapt when plans change, and bring enthusiasm and new ideas to everything they do. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with three years of relevant recreation or athletics experience.
