Job Description

As an Assistant Front Office Manager in the hospitality industry, your role is to oversee the front desk operations at resort. Your primary job is to ensure the smooth running of the front office and to enhance the guest experience. ​

Your key responsibilities include managing customer inquiries, handling reservations and check-ins, managing staff schedules and ensuring adherence to SOPs. You are also responsible for training and supervising front desk personnel, overseeing the billing process, managing inventory and ensuring that all guest complaints are addressed in a timely manner.

 

 

  1. Assist the front office manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's reception and booking departments.
  2. Handle guest complaints and ensure that all guests are satisfied with their stay.
  3. Conduct staff training sessions to ensure that all employees are knowledgeable about hotel policies and procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate records of guest reservations, room availability, and other crucial information.
  5. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient hotel operations.
  6. Manage the schedule and workload of receptionists and booking agents.
  7. Provide guidance and support to subordinates, and promote a positive work environment.
  8. Work closely with the front office manager to develop and implement strategies for improving guest satisfaction and increasing revenue.
  9. Ensure that all employees adhere to safety and security protocols.
  10. Assist the front office manager with budgeting and financial planning.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you need excellent communication skills, strong leadership qualities and proficiency in the industry's software and systems. You should also hold a degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field.
