We are the At-Home Team for each of the SJOG hospitals across WA and work out of the Osborne Park Office, SJG Murdoch and SJG Midland hospitals to accommodate most metro areas.
Your role at SJG Healthcare At Home
We are seeking applications from Senior Physiotherapists to join our Rehab at Home service, on a casual roster with potential permanent positions available in the next 3 to 6 months. As a Physiotherapist – Grade 2 depending on your experience, you'll join a collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, client-centred physiotherapy services that empower people to achieve their goals and maintain independence in the comfort of their own homes.
This senior role offers the opportunity to apply your specialist clinical expertise, work independently, and influence best practice across the service. You'll also play a key role in mentoring and developing junior clinicians, supervising students, and contributing to education, quality improvement, and research initiatives that shape the future of care.
This position will be offered on a casual basis with an expectation of 1-2 shifts weekly depending on caseload with potential permanent positions available in the next 3 to 6 months. This role will be based from our SJG Mudoch Hospital
The Position:
Provide physiotherapy assessment, intervention and evaluation at a senior practice level for complex and general caseload/s.
Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with colleagues and internal/external customers.
Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of patient feedback - satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities.
Ensure prioritisation and delegation of duties of Physiotherapy caseloads for self and supervised staff.
Active participation in the multidisciplinary team including clinical meetings.
Document in the patient/client healthcare record in accordance with the SJGHC policies and procedure
Maintain statistical data in accordance with departmental and professional clinical guidelines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential for building positive relationships and working effectively with clients from diverse cultural, linguistic, and social backgrounds.
Physiotherapists with Rehab in the Home (RITH), community care and/or home visiting experience are encouraged to apply. Hospital experience is not necessary
To succeed in this role, you will hold a Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will bring senior clinical experience, ideally within healthcare or disability services, along with a passion for delivering evidence-based, person-centred care. A current driver's licence and Working With Children Card is essential for this community-based role.

We can offer you
Casual Rate: $82.55 to $88.02 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
Casual position offering 1-2 shifts per week depending on case load
