About the Role

Description

Florida Centers for Sleep Medicine is seeking a Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) to join our Jacksonville sleep lab. This is an opportunity to work directly with pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients while performing diagnostic sleep studies that help physicians identify and treat a wide range of sleep disorders.


What You’ll Do

  • Prepare patients and equipment for overnight polysomnographic sleep studies
  • Perform and monitor polysomnography (PSG) using established sleep lab protocols
  • Operate polysomnographic recording equipment and ensure accurate data collection
  • Conduct sleep assessments and identify abnormalities during testing
  • Perform PAP titrations and other sleep studies as assigned
  • Document observations and evaluate sleep-related data and pathology
  • Maintain patient safety, comfort, and quality of care throughout each study
  • Follow established sleep center, documentation, and testing protocols

What You Need

  • Current RPSGT certification
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Previous experience working in a sleep lab preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to independently monitor overnight studies
  • Excellent patient-care and communication skills
