Your mission
Assembly Engineer job responsibility requires a blend of technical expertise in assembly, hands-on assembly skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with safety and quality standardsYour profile
▪ Perform hands-on assembly and installation of mechanical systems, components, and equipmentaccording to engineering drawings and specifications.
▪ Develop, implement, and optimize assembly processes for manufacturing operations.
▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, technicians, and project
managers to achieve project goals.
▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate engineering designs into efficient assembly
procedures.
▪ Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for assembly processes and equipment.
▪ Validate and maintain configuration management practices as per project requirements.
▪ Provide technical support and troubleshooting for assembly-related issues.
▪ Participate in the selection and procurement of assembly equipment and tools.
▪ Create and maintain documentation for assembly procedures, work instructions, and quality
records.
▪ Ensure the documentation and test results, observations, and any modifications made during the
assembly process.
▪ Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards, industry regulations, and safety guidelines.
▪ Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and customer
requirements.
▪ Implement and maintain documentation related to assembly processes, including procedures,
checklists, and quality records.
▪ Identify opportunities for process improvements in assembly techniques, tooling, and workflow.
▪ Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality in assembly operations.
▪ Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback and recommendations for design
improvements based on assembly experiences.
▪ Provide training and guidance to assembly technicians and junior engineers on proper assembly
techniques and procedures.
▪ Foster a culture of 5S, safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the assembly team.
▪ Ensure on time delivery compliance with quality and safety standards.
▪ Ensure to meet the department KPI.
▪ Manpower and material planning as per production schedule and target.
▪ Knowledge and implementation of six sigma, problem solving tool and lean deployment at site
