Our Housekeeping teams plays a key role in driving operational and service excellence across the entire property. Our Housekeeping leaders champion the hiring, onboarding, performance, staffing, scheduling, training and development of their team while ensuring that Laundry and Housekeeping services consistently support exceptional guest experiences, financial performance, long-term business goals, and the overall success of the property. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you’re not just leading the hotel’s daily laundry and housekeeping operations– you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest!
POSITION SUMMARY
The Housekeeping Supervisor reports directly to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Manager. This highly visible leadership position provides a strong presence throughout the hotel and active engagement with guests and employees. The Housekeeping Supervisor maintains daily supervision across Laundry and Housekeeping operations to ensure consistency in the presentation, availability, and cleanliness of rooms, linens, restrooms, offices, and public areas.
- Inspire and develop the team: Supervise and support team members while promoting positive employee relations and a productive work environment
- Inspect and verify room status: Conduct detailed room inspections, very status, report discrepancies, and update the property management system as needed to ensure
- Resource allocation and inventory: Check stock levels for linens and housekeeping supplies on a daily basis, ensuring carts and storage areas are properly stocked and distributed
- Ensure maintenance resolutions: Complete and submit work orders to address any repair or maintenance issues
- Support housekeeping operations: Supervise and delegate assignments to Public Space Attendants, Room Attendants and Housepersons as needed to maintain service levels
- Assist in team training: Assist the Director of Housekeeping in training Room Attendants to ensure adherence to cleanliness and quality standards
- Delight our guests: Address special guest needs in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be reliable, report to work on time, and be able to work all shifts on-site
- Must have open availability Monday-Sunday and be available to work evenings and weekends
- Must be able to work the necessary hours and a rotating schedule to support the needs of the department, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and key events
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be currently eligible to work in the United States of America and able to present required original employment authorization documents, as required to complete the Form I-9 on the first day of employment.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.

AVAILABILITY
Double Tree Bloomington Minneapolis South operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. At times it may be necessary to move you from your accustomed work day, to include Holidays, or time of work if business or task assignments demand. In addition, it should be understood that business needs determine the amount of hours per week that you will work and that hours may fluctuate each week based on the needs of a 24/7 operation, including days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
