Blue Bell County Club is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in working in an upscale private country club. An exemplary work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing superior customer service are necessary for all applicants. Applicants with experience working for first-class hospitality organizations will be strongly considered.  


JOB SUMMARY

If you are friendly, dedicated, charming, and committed to high standards of customer service with attention to detail, we invite you to join our team.  Restaurant Bartenders and Servers must be able to create a pleasant atmosphere by being attentive to our guests and have a complete knowledge of our menus and offerings.   Attentive, reliable, and customer-oriented bartender with experience taking orders and interacting with customers in an unpredictable volume restaurant environment. Confident and proficient team player with excellent problem solving, decision making, and communication skills.  In addition to bartending duties, you will be responsible for assisting on the floor to serve food to guests during service hours.

Bartender & Server Functions:  

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner.
  • Greet guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcome
  • Take customer’s food/drink orders while being polite, friendly, and helpful to guests
  • Be able to suggest appropriate substitutions, wine pairings, sides, etc.
  • Confirm orders accordingly to your assigned section and tables
  • Replenish drinks and wine along with providing coffee/dessert services in a timely manner
  • Always maintain clean tables and bar efficiently
  • Cater to the guests requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer service
  • Handles all member charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures
  • Performs all assigned side work
  • General clean-up (bussing of plates, glassware, silverware, etc.)
  • Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct
  • Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management
  • Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are stocked
  • Prepares garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks
  • Assess customers’ food and beverage needs and preferences, and be able to make appropriate recommendations
  • Mixes, prepares, and serves drinks according to the pre-approved recipes
  • Processes payments/checks accurately and efficiently
  • Maintains daily inventory, records of liquors, beers, and wine
  • Cleans and closes up according to prescribed procedures
  • Reports to the Restaurant Manager


Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience bartending 
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Previous experience in a county club setting (preferred)
  • Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, food and beverage preparations as well as etiquette.
  • Available to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidays (Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, along with other special events from time to time)
  • Abide by all Laws and company policies that regulate serving alcoholic beverages
  • RAMP Certification
  • Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies and rules
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance at all times
  • Frequently Wash Hands for proper food handling
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
