Opportunity

Join The Ascendancy Group (TAG) in providing essential logistics and sustainment support to a U.S. Naval Special Warfare mission. This full-time, on-site position supports the U.S. Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Fleet Integration Team (FIT) in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and is identified as key personnel under the task order.

This opportunity is ideal for a supply, warehouse, inventory, or property-accountability professional who values accurate material management in a high-accountability environment. The role directly supports mission readiness, sustainment, administrative, and operational requirements for the command.

Overview

The Ascendancy Group is seeking an Undersea Sustainment Support Specialist to provide on-site logistics, supply, warehouse, material-accountability, and sustainment support to the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Fleet Integration Team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Specialist will help maintain accurate accountability, readiness, movement, storage, issue, return, and disposal of mission-support equipment and consumable material.


Security Requirement:

An active U.S. Government Secret security clearance is required before the start date and must be maintained throughout employment.


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Process, track, issue, receive, turn in, and maintain accountability for initial-issue gear, sustainment gear, operational consumables, and other mission-support material; resolve OPCON issues and General Service Requests in accordance with command procedures.

• Receive, inspect, stow, inventory, reconcile, research, and distribute material using DPAS, R-Supply, SSAVIE, and other Government-directed logistics systems.

• Maintain accurate records for material receipts, issues, transfers, shipping, warehouse activity, asset accountability, inventory discrepancies, and turn-in/disposal actions.

• Support warehouse operations, including receiving, stowage, labeling, stock organization, shipping, required documentation, and coordination of material receipt, turnover, shipment, return, and disposal for supported commands and customers.

• Support DRMO/Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services turn-in and disposal actions in accordance with applicable procedures, and prepare quarterly status reports identifying completed actions, shortages, trends, concerns, and recommended corrective actions.

• Safeguard Government property, sensitive information, and Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with applicable policies and procedures while coordinating professionally with military, Government, contractor, warehouse, and logistics personnel.


Requirements:

• U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required before start date.

• Minimum two years of military, DoD, federal, or comparable logistics, supply, warehouse, property-accountability, or inventory-management experience.

• Experience using or supporting Government logistics systems such as DPAS, R-Supply, SSAVIE, GCSS, or comparable inventory and property-accountability systems.

• Demonstrated experience receiving, issuing, inventorying, reconciling, researching, shipping, and documenting Government-furnished or mission-support material.

• Working knowledge of material accountability, inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and turn-in/disposal procedures.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to meet contract-required drug-screening and access requirements.

• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, move, or position material and equipment up to 20 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Strong organization, communication, data-entry, and recordkeeping skills.
