Heartline Staffing is recruiting an experienced Financial Planner - Lead for a full-time, onsite opportunity in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. This client-facing position serves as a Lead Planner / Service Advisor, providing comprehensive financial and retirement planning while developing and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This is primarily a non-sales financial planning and client-service role. The Financial Planner serves as the main point of contact for assigned clients, provides day-to-day financial planning support, manages meeting follow-up and recurring client reviews, and works closely with Lead Advisors and other team members.

The role also offers opportunities to identify additional needs within existing client relationships, including additional assets and cross-sale opportunities. The position requires strong technical planning capabilities combined with exceptional responsiveness, attention to detail and relationship-building skills.

COMPENSATION
• Salary Range: $121,000-$150,000
• Performance-Based Bonuses

• Monday-Thursday: 8:45 AM-5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:45 AM-2:30 PM Assuming All High-Priority Tasks And Work Are Completed

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
• Serve As The Main Point Of Contact For Assigned Clients

• Meet Regularly With Clients To Develop Trusting And Supportive Relationships
• Conduct Regular Client Reviews According To The Assigned Service Model
• Proactively Check In With Clients Throughout The Year

• Help Ensure Client Needs Are Addressed Responsively And Accurately

TEAM COLLABORATION

Requirements

• Minimum 3 Years Of Experience Working Directly With Clients As A Financial Planner REQUIRED
• Active Series 65 Or Series 66 License REQUIRED
• Bachelor's Degree From An Accredited College Or University REQUIRED
• CFP Designation Must Be Obtained Within 2 Years Of Hire If Not Already Held REQUIRED
• Life Insurance License Must Be Obtained Within 6 Months Of Hire If Not Already Held REQUIRED
• Strong Financial And Retirement Planning Skills REQUIRED
• Very Strong Microsoft Excel Experience REQUIRED
• Strong Attention To Detail And Accuracy REQUIRED
• Ability To Manage Multiple Items And Projects Simultaneously REQUIRED
• Strong Client Relationship-Building Skills REQUIRED
