About the Role

NRI is seeking an experienced SAP Basis & Security Consultant to support business-critical SAP environments within our Managed Services Enterprise Applications team.

You'll be responsible for the administration, maintenance, security and optimisation of SAP ECC environments, ensuring platform availability, performance and stability.

 
What You’ll Do 

• Administer, support and maintain SAP ECC environments 
• Monitor SAP systems and resolve incidents in line with customer SLAs 
• Manage SAP transports across development, test and production 
• Perform SAP Basis administration, user administration and security management 
• Manage roles, authorisations and access 
• Perform system monitoring and performance tuning 
• Support SAP patching, upgrades, refreshes and maintenance 
• Participate in deployments, releases and change activities 
• Maintain operational documentation and technical standards 
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support roster for critical environments

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years' SAP Basis administration/security experience 
• Strong experience supporting SAP ECC production environments 
• Strong Basis skills across system monitoring, performance tuning, transport management and client administration 
• SAP Security experience including users, roles, authorisations and access governance Experience troubleshooting business-critical SAP platform incidents 
• SAP patching, upgrades, refreshes and maintenance experience 
• Working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management 
• Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call roster 
• Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capability 
• Exposure to SAP HANA, Solution Manager, cloud-hosted SAP environments, security audits and SoD controls would be advantageous.
