About the Role

Description

Wilmar LLC, proud owner of Performance Tool, EZRED, and other leading brands, is a trusted supplier of quality tools to major retailers and distributors throughout North America and internationally. We're a growing, customer-focused organization committed to delivering quality products while continuously improving how we serve our customers.

As our business continues to grow, we're expanding our Purchasing team and looking for a Purchasing Specialist who enjoys balancing day-to-day execution while finding practical ways to improve how work gets done.

This is a hands-on purchasing role in a fast-paced distribution environment. You'll help ensure the right products are available at the right time by managing purchase orders, supporting inventory replenishment, coordinating with domestic and international suppliers, and tracking inbound shipments from order placement through receipt.

No two days are exactly alike. You'll work with suppliers, inventory, imports, operations, and sales to help keep products moving and customers supplied.

Success in this role requires the ability to adapt to changing business priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and excellent customer service. You'll play an important role as we continue investing in better systems, stronger processes, and the tools needed to support our continued growth.  If you're organized, proactive, and enjoy solving problems while working across multiple departments, we'd like to hear from you.

NOTE: This is a HANDS-ON purchasing execution role focused on day-to-day purchase order management, vendor coordination, and inventory accuracy. It is not a supply chain analyst or planning role. Candidates whose primary background is supply chain analysis, demand planning, forecasting, or network optimization will not be a fit for this position.

Must Have

  • At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or buying in a US-based distribution, wholesale, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience placing and managing purchase orders (not only analyzing data).
  • 100% onsite in Kent, Washington (no hybrid/remote).
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
  • No relocation is offered for this role.

Wilmar LLC is an equal opportunity employer.

Salary Range is: $25 - $35 per hour
