Whirlwind Steel builds and delivers metal structures used by people and businesses every day. As a CAD Production Clerk, you will help make sure the drawings and production information coming from our office are accurate and ready for the shop.


Job Summary: You will work with CAD drawings, production data, nesting, and quality checks while communicating with both drafting and manufacturing teams. This role is a good fit for someone who knows their way around CAD, pays attention to the small details, and wants to see their work manifest its way from a drawing to the shop floor.

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience with AutoCAD and ProNest or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to read and understand CAD drawings and manufacturing details.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with different teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, starting at 7:00 AM; end time will vary based on workload, typically between 4:30 - 6:30 PM. Occasional weekends may be required based on business needs.
