Lake Butler Hospital is a critical access hospital providing 24-hour emergency services, inpatient hospitalization, swing bed, rehabilitation services, outpatient laboratory and outpatient radiology (x-ray and ultrasound) services to Union and surrounding counties. We are devoted to providing quality healthcare in a comfortable setting to all members of our community. LBH also provides primary care at the Lake Butler Hospital Rural Health Clinic and provides outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy at Lake Butler Hospital Rehabilitation Center.

Vendor and Contract Manager


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vendor and Contract Manager to oversee the lifecycle of vendor agreements and ensure compliance with organizational policies. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our procurement processes, manage contractual obligations, and support our commitment to operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, legal acumen, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional activities effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

- Complete and retain the agreement-classification determination prior to contract award.

- Coordinate procurement activities, including exclusions screening, conflict disclosures, insurance, licensure, BAA/DUA, and legal review processes.

- Maintain the contract register, obligation balances, deliverable schedules, amendment history, and renewal/closeout dates.

- Ensure work does not commence before all required approvals are obtained and route any contract changes through written amendments.

- Collaborate with program owners and legal counsel to address performance concerns and issue cure notices.


This is a grant funded position through September 30, 2027 and may be temporary.  Funding beyond September 30, 2027 is not guaranteed.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree; five years of healthcare, public-sector, grant-funded, or complex services contracting; working knowledge of Uniform Guidance and HIPAA contracting.

- Proven experience in contract management, procurement, or vendor relations.

- Strong understanding of legal and compliance requirements related to contracts.

- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.

- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage deadlines effectively.

- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
