About the Role

Description

We are looking for a skilled Assembler plays a critical role in our production process by assembling various components and products according to specifications.


Responsibilities include:

  • Assembly: Assemble products and components following detailed instructions and blueprints. Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery as needed.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections. Ensure all assembled items meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Material Handling: Transport and handle materials, parts, and finished products using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment as required.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment. Report any malfunctions or needed repairs to supervisors.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and reports related to assembly and production. Maintain accurate records of completed work.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other assembly workers and departments to meet production goals and deadlines. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Suggest improvements to assembly processes to increase efficiency.
  • Safety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is an advantage, but not required.
  • Skills: Proficiency with hand tools and machinery, strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Attributes: Reliable, eager to learn, and able to work well independently or as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
