Position Title: Account Manager

Department: Group Purchasing

Reports To: Membership Development Manager

Level: Staff

Work Location: Hybrid in Cleveland, Ohio

Direct Reports: NA

FLSA Status: Exempt

We are currently looking for a Account Manager to join our team and help us move our mission forward.


What You’ll Do:

  • Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to address purchasing needs and ensure they fully benefit from GPO contracts.
  • Contract Optimization: Identify and implement GPO contracts tailored to client environments, delivering savings and enhancing member satisfaction.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through clear, consistent communication.
  • Business Reviews: Prepare and lead client business reviews, offering insights and strategies to optimize contract utilization.
  • Campaign Development: Create and execute client campaigns that target the specific needs of accounts, driving engagement and contract adoption.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2-3 years of related experience in account management, service, or sales.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and familiarity with GPO operations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to travel during regular business hours, overnight, or on weekends.
