QA Automation Engineer (Junior-Middle)

We are seeking a highly proactive and enthusiastic Quality Assurance Engineer looking to
step into a Junior to Junior-Mid role. In this position, you will drive automated testing solutions using 
Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript, collaborate closely across distributed engineering teams, master the
standard Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and actively leverage AI-assisted testing tools to elevate
testing efficiency and software quality.

• Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) Execution: Actively participate in all phases of the STLC, including requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Automation Test Development: Design, write, and maintain robust automated end-to-end (E2E) and API test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript / JavaScript.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively communicate with developers, product managers, and crossborder teams to clarify requirements, report defects, and align on release readiness.
• AI Technology Integration: Leverage modern AI capabilities and tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or LLM-driven testing plugins) to generate test data, optimize automation scripts, analyze root causes, and speed up testing workflows.
• Defect Management: Document clear, reproducible bug reports with log traces and steps to reproduce.
• Follow up on bug resolution and verify fixes promptly.
• Ownership & Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify gaps in testing coverage, suggest framework enhancements, and maintain clean, reusable test code and documentation.

• At least 1 year of experience
• STLC & QA Fundamentals: Solid foundational understanding of manual testing concepts, testing methodologies, test case design techniques, and the end-to-end STLC process.
• Automation Tech Stack: Practical experience or strong hands-on familiarity in building/maintaining automated tests using Playwright combined with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Strong oral and written English communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly to multi-functional teams and stakeholders.
• AI Capabilities in Testing: Familiarity with or strong interest in applying AI tools (e.g., Copilot, LLM prompt engineering, AI code assistance) to streamline QA deliverables and test script maintenance.
• Mindset & Attitude: High level of proactivity, enthusiasm, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn new automation patterns and tools rapidly.

Nice to have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) for automated test execution.
• Understanding of RESTful API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Playwright Request API, Bruno).
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, Xray, or similar test management platforms.

• Working time: 9AM-6PM, Monday to Friday
