About the Opportunity 

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of talent acquisition services across the University. Working closely with the Talent Acquisition team, including central portfolios and academic groups, you will assist with a wide range of recruitment and talent-related activities to ensure a seamless hiring experience.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will provide administrative and operational support across the end-to-end recruitment process, while also offering guidance on relevant policies, procedures, and talent practices. You will collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and delivering responsive, customer-focused support to attract and secure top talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of key Talent Acquisition processes and systems, including the administration and processing of paid appointments and recruitment activities.
  • Coordinate interview logistics, ensuring a seamless candidate and stakeholder experience through the organisation of venues, catering, parking, schedules, and related arrangements.
  • Prepare and process employment offers and associated recruitment documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Compile, prepare, and coordinate recruitment materials and documentation, including interview packs, selection reports, and other relevant paperwork to be able to send to staff file.
  • Assist in the development of engaging recruitment marketing materials, including LinkedIn content and talent attraction collateral, in partnership with Talent Acquisition Partners.
  • Manage financial administration activities, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, reconciling transactions, and maintaining accurate records in collaboration with Finance and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration across the University.
  • Maintain and update employee and position data within PeopleSoft, ensuring compliance with position management processes, data integrity requirements, and HR governance protocols.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing Talent Acquisition team, effectively managing priorities and delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes.

About you

  • The occupant of this position will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, Safety, or a relevant field, or possess relevant work experience in Human Resources and Safety.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work while managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Candidates must have full, unrestricted Australian work rights and will be subject to a National criminal history check.

This is a full-time continuing opportunity based at the either the Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-site university, you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary

HEW 5 – Base range - $82,415.66 - $92,456.55 + 17% superannuation. Full package range - $96,426.31 - $108,174.16.
