Position Summary:
- Lead the hotel's overnight operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth hotel performance throughout the night
- Oversee the Night Audit process and ensure all daily financial reports are accurate and completed on time
- Assist guests arriving and departing the hotel through the check-in and departure process
- Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints, providing prompt resolutions and genuine service
- Act as the senior hotel representative overnight, managing emergency situations and making operational decisions as required
- Supervise overnight staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs and safety standards are met
- Monitor hotel security and ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures and brand standards
- Be an expert on the hotel and the surrounding area, providing local recommendations to enhance the guest experience
- Build and strengthen relationships with guests to encourage loyalty and future bookings
- Understand the impact of overnight operations on overall property financial goals and contribute to achieving departmental objectives
About You:
- Experience with OPERA Property Management System or similar
- Previous experience in a Night Manager, Duty Manager, Front Office Supervisor or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, night audit processes and guest service standards
- Working rights in Australia
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Self-motivated, reliable and confident working independently during overnight shifts
- Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude
- First Aid and CPR Qualification
